Thorndale came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Milano Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 46-27. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the Eagles are ranked 1432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Thorndale pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Milano, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Thorndale will challenge Rosebud-Lott at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milano has already played their next matchup (against Granger), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
