After flying high against Walnut Ridge two weeks ago, Marion-Franklin came back down to earth. The Red Devils fell 10-5 to the Bishop Ready Silver Knights on Tuesday. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Marion-Franklin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Dexter, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Marion-Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Bishop Ready, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Marion-Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-9 victory against Africentric Early College on the 14th. As for Bishop Ready, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Licking Valley on the 15th.
