Volleyball Recap: Haley Eldridge and Kensley Shanahan Secure Win for Mobile Christian + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Mobile Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fairhope Pirates on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Leopards in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won five in a row.

Mobile Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-16, 24-26, 25-11, 25-20.

Leading Mobile Christian to victory were Kensley Shanahan and Haley Eldridge. Shanahan had 14 digs, while Eldridge had 14 digs and six aces. Eldridge is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. Alexis Scott also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Mobile Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairhope only served seven aces.

When it comes to explaining why Fairhope lost, don't look at Addy Busby. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and five assists.

Mobile Christian's record now sits at 7-4. As for Fairhope, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Mobile Christian has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Spanish Fort on the 13th. As for Fairhope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Foley on the 9th.
