Norton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They managed a 58-52 win over the Plainville Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bluejays also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Eli Jones was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyce Melvin, who posted ten points and four steals.

Norton pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Plainville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norton will venture away from home to take on Ellis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainville, they will head out on the road to face off against Trego at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.
