Recap: Ellington Knights vs. Stafford/Somers/East Windsor Bulldogs
The Ellington Knights entered their tilt with the Stafford/Somers/East Windsor Bulldogs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ellington put the hurt on Stafford/Somers/East Windsor with a sharp 31-6 victory on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ellington also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Ellington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Neville, who picked up 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Neville's longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards. Aaron Ladr was another key contributor, throwing for 224 yards and three touchdowns.
Stafford/Somers/East Windsor's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Robert Goines, who gained 101 total yards and a touchdown, and Tyler Wolf who rushed for 56 yards on only seven carries.
Ellington's victory bumped their record up to 3-3. As for Stafford/Somers/East Windsor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
