Covenant Christian skates past Legacy Christian Academy with ease

The Covenant Christian Cougars can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Legacy Christian Academy, posting a 61-15 win on the road. Given Covenant Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 583rd, while Legacy Christian Academy is ranked 1391st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Covenant Christian was led to victory by Keeley Chaddick and Alani Owens. Chaddick scored 25 points along with four steals, while Owens dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten steals. Chaddick hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Skylar May was another key contributor, scoring no points along with four steals.

Covenant Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.

Covenant Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Salt and Light Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Covenant Christian comes in on three and Salt and Light Homeschool on four. Legacy Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
