Baseball Recap: Rialto Gets the Win

Rialto won the last time they faced Colton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Yellowjackets 2-1. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one run.

Isaac Carrillo was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. George Morales was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Rialto is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Colton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11.

Rialto will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
