Basketball Recap: Jackson Bouressa Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Sun Prairie West

Stevens Point won the last time they faced Sun Prairie West and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Wolves 67-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Stevens Point's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Bouressa led the charge by dropping a double-double with 25 points and ten boards. Bouressa has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 60% every time he's hit the court this season. Sivan Dinga was another key player, shooting 42% from the field on his way to 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Stevens Point now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sun Prairie West, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Stevens Point is taking a road trip to square off against Wausau West at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Sun Prairie West, they will be home for the holidays to greet Janesville Parker at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
