Volleyball Recap: Arlington Has No Trouble Against Juanita + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Arlington faced off against Juanita on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Arlington's got stronger as the match went on, holding Juanita to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Arlington found their leader in sophomore Phoebe Potong, who had 22 digs and one assist. Potong is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Juanita's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elisa Cook, who had 14 digs and one assist.

The victory got Arlington back to even at 10-10. As for Juanita, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

As of now, neither Arlington nor the Ravens have any future games scheduled.
