Baseball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Legacy Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against the Selma Bears on Monday, falling 11-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Legacy Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Swint, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for Selma, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will face off against Alpaugh at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selma, they will square off against Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
