Recap: Springfield Tigers vs. Lakeview Lakers
Make it six blowout wins for the Springfield Tigers this season. They claimed a resounding 79-39 victory over Lakeview on the road. Winning may never get old, but Springfield sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Brayden Sturm continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Potter, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Springfield is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Lakeview, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Springfield will be playing at home against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while Springfield is ranked 182nd). As for Lakeview, they will head out on the road to take on Central Minnesota Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
