Baseball Recap: Blooming Grove Comes Up Short

Blooming Grove has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.82 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Grandview Zebras, falling 11-5. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Zebras earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Blooming Grove moved to 11-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Grandview, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12-1 record this season.
