Volleyball Recap: Muskegon Comes Up Short

Muskegon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Orchard View Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Muskegon's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Orchard View, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15-5.

Muskegon has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Jenison on the 21st. As for Orchard View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Muskegon Heights on the 18th.
