Volleyball Recap: Arizona College Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Arizona College Prep and Chaparral squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Arizona College Prep had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Firebirds. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Firebirds: they've now lost seven in a row.

Taylor Rother paced Arizona College Prep's offense, picking up seven kills. Rother got some help from Riley Thomson and her ten assists.

Chaparral was led to victory by Drew Flanagan and Caprice Cooper. Flanagan had 12 digs and two aces, while Cooper had 18 digs and three aces. Flanagan is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Arizona College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 14-19-2. As for Chaparral, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season.

Arizona College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaparral, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Centennial on the 13th.
