Poway barely beat Oceanside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Pirates 3-0 on Friday. The Titans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-21.

Gracyn Gregg paced Poway's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gregg got some help from Ella Bear and her 26 assists. Gregg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Poway's record now sits at 11-17. As for Oceanside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Coincidentally, Poway and Oceanside will both be playing Mission Hills the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
