Baseball Recap: Big Pasture Takes a Loss

Big Pasture suffered their closest loss since March 28th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Sterling Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Rangers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

DALTON TAYLOR spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. He has become a key player for Big Pasture: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-10 otherwise.

Big Pasture now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Sterling, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

Coming up, Big Pasture will square off against Velma-Alma at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sterling, they will challenge Dibble at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
