The Goodrich Hornets lost against the Chester Yellowjackets on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Goodrich took a hard 52-36 fall against Chester. Goodrich has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sydney Brock was on fire for Chester: she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Brock hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Ty Cochran was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Goodrich has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Chester, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-14.

Goodrich will be playing at home against Leggett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leggett is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Chester, they will head out on the road to challenge Zavalla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
