Baseball Recap: Leedey Takes a Loss

Leedey fell victim to Hammon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bison were not able to get on the board.

Leedey's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Hammon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Coming up, Leedey will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Fort Cobb-Broxton at 5:00 p.m. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bison's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hammon, they will square off against Mangum at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
