Volleyball Recap: Hingham Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hingham, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hanover Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Harbormen also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Hingham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-13, 29-27, 25-20.

Hingham has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Hanover, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hingham is set to take on their familiar foe North Quincy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hanover will face off against rival Plymouth North at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
