Basketball Recap: Cambria-Friesland Comes Up Short

Cambria-Friesland lost against Markesan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Markesan Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Hornets are ranked 165th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cambria-Friesland and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Markesan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Randolph the next time they take the court. Cambria-Friesland will host Randolph at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Markesan will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
