Basketball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland lost to Blue Mountain back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Ashland's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-10. As for Blue Mountain, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Coincidentally, Ashland and Blue Mountain will both be playing West Union the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Devils will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
