Basketball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short

Ladysmith lost against Cumberland back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ladysmith Lumberjacks took a 77-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cumberland Beavers.

Ladysmith's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Cumberland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ladysmith and Cumberland will both be playing Cameron the next time they take the court. Cumberland will host Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Ladysmith will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
