Volleyball Recap: Miami Trace's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Miami Trace had won three straight games and Keionnie Ackley did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sheridan Generals with plenty of help from Ackley, who had 23 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 26-24.

Sheridan's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Stoltz, who had 14 digs. Another player making a difference was Grace Stoltz, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Miami Trace's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Sheridan, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-11 record.

Looking ahead, Miami Trace will take on Dover at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sheridan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
