Basketball Recap: Minneola Comes Up Short

Minneola lost against South Central back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Minneola Wildcats took a blow against the South Central Timberwolves, falling 73-29. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Minneola lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaos Aldridge, who posted four points.

Minneola now has a losing record at 3-4. As for South Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minneola will head out to take on Spearville on Friday. Spearville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Minneola likes a good challenge. As for South Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Medicine Lodge on Friday. South Central's defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so Medicine Lodge's offense will have their work cut out for them.
