Soccer Game Preview: Mulberry vs. Davenport

Mulberry hasn't had much luck against Davenport recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Mulberry Panthers will face off against the Davenport Broncos at 7:00 p.m.

Mulberry is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Poinciana back in December of 2024. Mulberry fell just short of Poinciana by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Davenport kept a clean sheet against Fort Meade on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Miners. Considering the Broncos have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mulberry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-2. As for Davenport, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

Mulberry came up short against Davenport in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Mulberry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
