Softball Recap: Jack Britt Comes Up Short

Jack Britt took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gray's Creek Bears on Friday. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Ta'Niyah Turner was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Lauren McGarry was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Jack Britt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Gray's Creek, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.
