Basketball Game Preview: Skyview Hawks vs. Bishop Kelly Knights

Skyview hasn't had much luck against Bishop Kelly recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Skyview Hawks will challenge the Bishop Kelly Knights at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Skyview got the win against Caldwell by a conclusive 81-58. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bishop Kelly came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 65-46.

Skyview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. Bishop Kelly's victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Things could have been worse for Skyview, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-51 loss to Bishop Kelly when the teams last played last Thursday. Can Skyview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
