Volleyball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Blue Island Eisenhower lost against Shepard back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Astros. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Blue Island Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Shepard, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blue Island Eisenhower will challenge rival Oak Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shepard is set to square off against their familiar foe Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Astros have won four straight at home, while the Argonauts won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
