Basketball Recap: Mascenic Regional Sets Scoring Season-High Against Sunapee

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mascenic Regional). They came out on top against the Sunapee Lakers by a score of 51-44 on Friday. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

The win made it two in a row for Mascenic Regional and bumps their season record up to 3-11. As for Sunapee, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Coming up, Mascenic Regional will head out on the road to take on Epping at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mascenic Regional is facing Epping at the right time seeing as Epping is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Sunapee, they will host Mount Royal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
