Evansville Reitz has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Daviess County as Evansville Reitz made off with a 53-31 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Evansville Reitz.
Evansville Reitz's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bailey Hape, who shot 6-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Norah Miller, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Hancock County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union County. Hancock County has struggled against Union County recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Evansville Reitz's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hancock County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
