Clayton-Ridge barely beat MFL MarMac the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for Clayton-Ridge, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Clayton-Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-3. As for MFL MarMac, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coincidentally, Clayton-Ridge and MFL MarMac will both be playing New Hampton the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Chickasaws at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
