Baseball Recap: Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs vs. Temple Christian Crusaders
After flying high against Temple Christian last Tuesday, Westover Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs fell victim to a tough 16-3 defeat at the hands of the Temple Christian Crusaders on Monday. For Temple Christian's part, Silas Walker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Walker has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
