Weiss is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to square off against the East View Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Weiss is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Weiss is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Cedar Creek with a sharp 14-2 win on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wolves with their most commanding win of the season.

Weiss got a big performance out of Aliyah Herrera, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That run marked the first that Herrera scored this season. Another player making a difference was Anabella Gomez, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Weiss always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, East View was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of Fredericksburg by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Weiss now has a winning record of 6-5. As for East View, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
