Softball Recap: Ross Little Giants vs. Napoleon Wildcats
Ross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Napoleon Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ross of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on April 10th.
Rubi Almaguer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a stolen base, and a run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Gazdecki, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Ross' loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Napoleon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
