East Laurens's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by the Central Chargers on the road to the tune of 49-0. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

East Laurens' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Central, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
East Laurens will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. on September 20th. After each having a week off, Central and Southwest will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on September 20th.
