Baseball Recap: Centreville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Centreville took on Oakton on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 5-1 to the Cougars. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Centreville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Kees, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Centreville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Oakton, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Centreville nor Oakton have any future games scheduled.
