Soledad has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell 2-0 to the Carmel Padres on Wednesday.

Soledad's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Carmel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soledad will head out to challenge Monte Vista Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 16th. As for Carmel, they will venture away from home to square off against North Monterey County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Carmel is facing North Monterey County at the right time seeing as North Monterey County is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
