Basketball Recap: Boyceville Comes Up Short

Boyceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers, falling 68-47. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Panthers are ranked 116th).

Boyceville's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Durand-Arkansaw, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Coming up, Boyceville will square off against Flambeau at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they will face off against Neillsville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
