Basketball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Myers Park Mustangs at home by a 69-53 margin. The Bearcats were down 57-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Myers Park was led to victory by Ayo Awosanya and Josh Hines. Awosanya dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards, while Hines went 8 of 10 on his way to 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bram Early, who posted nine points.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Myers Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-7.

Rock Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-54 victory against Camden on the 27th. As for Myers Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-42 win against James Island on the 27th.
