Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Boca Raton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.

Kiara Rose paced Boca Raton's offense, picking up ten kills. Rose got some help from Meya Cooper and her 20 assists. Alexandra Elberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Boca Raton back to even at 5-5. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As for Calvary Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Divine Savior Academy on the 19th.
