Yorktown strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the John Jay Wolves by a score of 20-13. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 back in March.

Sophia Marcello threw for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Eva Monaco was her top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and one score.

Yorktown pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average this season. As for John Jay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Yorktown will welcome Mahopac at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. John Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
