Softball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Leesville's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Leesville finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the LaSalle Tigers, falling 6-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wampus Cats were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Leesville's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.4 runs. As for LaSalle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
