Volleyball Recap: Jefferson City Wins Going Away Against Union

Jefferson City won the last time they faced Union and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jays were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Jays not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0).

Jefferson City's got stronger as the match went on, holding Union to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-13.

Haley Niermeyer paced Jefferson City's offense, picking up 14 kills. Niermeyer got some help from Landrie Vogt and her 34 assists. Leah Heisler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jefferson City's victory bumped their record up to 20-13-1. As for Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-22-1.

As of now, neither Jefferson City nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
