Pitman won the last time they faced Pleasant Grove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pride had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1.

Leading Pitman to victory were Nicoletta Dowd and Aila Reich. Dowd had 14 assists and three aces, while Reich had 19 digs and five assists. Reich is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Pitman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant Grove only served one.

Pitman has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. As for Pleasant Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.
