Basketball Game Preview: Southwestern Randolph Cougars vs. West Davidson Dragons

If West Davidson heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Southwestern Randolph took over last week. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Wheatmore 39-36. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, West Davidson came up short against East Rowan on Tuesday and fell 48-41. The Dragons have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

West Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
