It seemed like a routine snap in a routine practice for quarterback Heath Haden and the Centre College (Danville, Ky.) football team. It turned out to be anything but.
Haden took the snap from center and dropped back to pass, only to find that the entire offense and defense had suddenly collapsed to the ground.
It was a perfectly executed prank and, judging by the frustrated punt at the end of the play, Haden wasn't initially amused. Still the Centre College twitter account announced after the play that "Morale continues to sky rocket" for the Colonels.
Centre College, a Division III school, went undefeated in the Southern Athletic Association last season under 18-year head coach Andy Frye en route to a 10-1 finish.
Earlier this week Colonel defensive back Jaxson Hilander
made a ridiculous 360-degree interception, so the squad can make plays in addition to pulling pranks. If you're still without a favorite Division III college football team, look no further.
Special thanks to @CentreFootball and @CoachSneed for the video.
