Palos Verdes' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over San Pedro. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sea Kings.

Greyden Rudy looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, Tyler Kaercher was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Mira Costa had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cubs as they made off with an 11-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Mira Costa's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Palos Verdes, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
