Softball Recap: Kettle Run Cougars vs. Skyline Hawks

Kettle Run waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Skyline Hawks out 4-2.

Aaliyah Alexander made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Alexander was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

In other batting news, Leah Trible was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Emerson Golden, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
