Basketball Game Preview: Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers vs. Northwood Chargers

Bartlett Yancey is 0-3 against Northwood since January of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Northwood Chargers at 7:30 p.m. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kentrell Willis and Cam Fowler.

On Monday, Bartlett Yancey came up short against Seaforth and fell 51-40. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northwood had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 72-51 margin over the Stallions. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Northwood pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Bartlett Yancey, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
