Basketball Recap: East Rutherford Piles Up the Points Against Brevard

East Rutherford won the last time they faced Brevard and things went their way on Friday too. The East Rutherford Cavaliers claimed a resounding 66-36 win over the Brevard Blue Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

East Rutherford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella Harris led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance also gave Harris a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Faith Smith, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

East Rutherford was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

East Rutherford's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Brevard, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
